Sadaf Ahrari
Director of Marketing
Sadaf brings a deep-rooted connection to the performing arts to her work for The Shared Light Collective. Surrounded by music from childhood, Sadaf found an early connection to the arts and understands how powerful it can be for young people to have creative spaces where they feel safe expressing themselves. That connection carried into adulthood, as she earned her B.A. in Music Industry Studies from Cal State Northridge and developed a deeper understanding of both the creative and business sides of the industry. She went on to build her early career with indie record labels, supporting projects across marketing, event coordination, and copyright licensing.

Before returning to the arts, Sadaf worked as a special education teacher with Manteca Unified School District. That chapter renewed her commitment to accessibility and community-centered creative work, and her background in education continues to shape her approach to her role.

Having grown up in the Central Valley, Sadaf is deeply invested in the region’s cultural stories and creative voices. As an Afghan woman, she is especially drawn to The Shared Light’s commitment to creating space for underrepresented communities to tell their own stories with care and agency.
